How to get there & park

Head towards Fort William. At the first mini roundabout turn left up Glen Nevis. 4.5 miles up the glen at the end of the forest which is on the right and just before the road changes from dual to single track park near the forest entrance.

Description of walks

Signposted. A pleasant walk based on the forest road which zigzags up the hill and a path which takes a more direct line following the burn up the hill. The lower part is very sheltered. There are good views of the waterfalls and slides and the slopes of Ben Nevis.

Footwear

A gravel path and forest road, stout shoes should be adequate.

Gradients & terrain

The walk is in two loops one above the other. Both climb uphill but the top loop is steeper.Best to climb the path and return by the road. 45 to 90 minutes
