How to get there & Park
From Corpach head west on the A830 to Mallaig. After 5.5 miles take the right turn which is sign posted to Fassfern. Pass the wooden houses on the left. Immediately after the bridge turn right. The old sheep fank has
been made into a car park and picnic area.
Description
There is an information board which maps out 4 walks which
vary in length from 1 to 4 hours. The best is to cross back over
the bridge and walk up the river on the east side.
Footwear
The walks are based on forest roads. Strong footwear is
adequate for the shorter walks but boots are recommended if you
go as far as Glen Suilaig bothy or on the walk to the lochan.
Gradients & terrain
Gradients are gentle. The roads can be wet and muddy on
occasions particularly after timber operations but generally the
first part of the riverside is OK
