How to get there & Park
From Corpach head west on the A830 Mallaig road. After a 9 miles (before you go under the railway) look for 2 forest roads on the right. Up the second one there is a small car park.
Description
This forest walk is provided by Fassfern Estate. The walk takes a loop through the oak wood, sign posted but not very well. Be prepared to get lost! The loop eventually rejoins the forest road higher up the hill. The road leads up to a mast. If you go accross country beyond the mast you reach a knoll which gives an excellent view over Glenfinnan, the monument and the viaduct. Those less adventurous can just walk up and then back down the forest road; still worth the effort if you go accross to a view point near the mast.
Footwear
Wellies or boots, boggy in places.
Gradients & Terrain
Quite steep on the track. Sheltered, a bit rough and wet, a new walk which should settle
down.
