How to get there & Park
From Corpach head towards Fort William. After one mile, before crossing the Caledonian Canal take the left turn onto the B8004 sign posted to Gairlochy. After 2.5 miles at a phone box there is a rough track down to the right. Park near the top or about 200m down on the left before going under the canal.

Description
Not signposted, go down the track under the canal. Carry on to the junction. A right turn past the farmhouse takes you to the old Torcastle. When you get to the castle with the river Lochy below turn down stream and walk until you come to a small burn. Turn right following the faint path. It leads you to a gate at the side of the track and back to the tunnel. A left (from the junction mentioned above) takes you through a conifer plantation. On coming out of the conifers you will find off to your right, Banquo's walk, an avenue of beech trees. Wander down the avenue until you see the river Lochy then trend leftwards through the beech wood until you hit the canal tow path. Turn left back along the towpath until you come back to the tunnel.

Footwear
Often muddy and wet, boots or wellies recommended.

Gradients & Terrain
Relatively flat and sheltered. More of an exploration than a regularised walk.
